No Unauthorized Email Collection

Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection, Article 50-2 (Prohibition of Unauthorized Collection of Email Addresses)

1. (1) No person shall collect email addresses using a program or other technical device that automatically collects email addresses from an internet website on which an intent to refuse the collection of email addresses is expressly stated.
2. (2) No person shall sell or distribute email addresses collected in violation of paragraph (1).
3. (3) No person shall use email addresses for transmitting information while knowing that the collection, sale, and distribution of such addresses are prohibited under paragraphs (1) and (2).
